Traveling By Bike

Being 11 miles from the ferry this is a perfect camp. Not far from bike path. The weekday evening staff was nice and accommodating. Ride in, sleep and pack up with plenty of time to make the first ferry.

We checked in on Thrusday June 8. After reading the review that was posted, I had some reservations about my decision. Well let me tell you Chuck the manager was the best. He was very helpful and pleasure to talk to. We would definitely stay here again.

Long Time Camper

Do not stay at this campground! The micro-manager is controlling and extremely rude towards campers. Each camper is treated as a child regardless of age and I am talking about adults! For many years now I have shared my experience and those of many others who made the mistake of staying at this campground. If you want your own horror story stay here. Sadly this is a great campground too. I would hope that KOA would notice the multiple bad reviews on the internet and do something! I only gave it a 1 star because I had to to get this to post.
