Awesome Campground

We stopped for just a night passing thru the area and found this cute,clean campground. The bathrooms are probably the best I've seen anywhere. Great job on the decor and cleanliness. The camp store is great and I stopped up several times to buy things. The woman that worked there in the evening was so nice but the younger man the next morning was very unfriendly and rude. Hopefully just a bad day

Great Location But...

Great location right on one of the best rail trails in the world (my opinion). Perfect 'basecamp' for exploring Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore. The facilities were adequate but it seemed like other campers were primarily permanent residents and were not very friendly. Did not feel welcomed by campground staff but maybe that is expecting too much during the busy season. Will probably stay elsewhere next time.

Super place for avid rail trail bikers to enjoy a safe basecamp while peddling a nice trail.
