Solar Power?

11, 51, 53, 85, 93, 109, and 90 are somewhat solar friendly but the other sites are all in deep shade. Nice bathrooms with no hot water. Large sites, fairly level. Very nice campground.

Great campground if you are a tenter, which is the majority here. We booked a 58’ pull through. They didn’t mention it was a tilted boat ramp. I don’t even have a big trailer and for the first time was not able to level my trailer. Typical of National Parks though. We just wanted to avoid the fireworks. Fantastic hiking trails and if you are a spelunker, you’ll be in heaven. It would have been 5 stars if the campground was modernized for today’s camping

Wonderful Hiking And Biking But Be Aware

We did not stay at the campground. We were a little north at Dog Creek Recreation but I think it is important to know that you cannot travel across the river in the park at this time. We were hiking and mountain biking. The Visitor’s Center is on the south east side and there are wonderful marked hiking trails, but the best mountain biking trail (Big Hollow) is on the north west side requiring a 45 minute to hour drive around the park. None of the ferries in the park are operating.

Great

Great campground. Clean facilities. Walking distance to cave visitor center, hiking trails, camping store, showers and laundry. They don't sell real firewood, only bio wood which is like sawdust blocks. They burn good and make a nice fire but nothing the same without the crackling sound. Recommend buying some certified firewood outside the park to use with the bio wood for a nice fire. Bio wood blocks burn for a couple of hours. Campground seems to be more for tents but are some good sites for campers and smaller RVs. Dump station and potable water at the camping store at the entrance to the campground. Cave is awesome.

Nice Park

We stayed in the "walk in" area and there were a lot of nice spots in wooded areas. Nice clean bathrooms and lots of hiking trails. After a long hike we had a cold beer at the grill, so worth it.

Great Stay

Nice wooded spots. Very organized, easy to get a place without a reservation. Might feel crowded in peak season but few people there on a Friday in April. Clean bathrooms. Beautiful park and Cave tour was wonderful

As has been written, more for tents, but quite a few pull-through for rvs. Campground is lovely and near the visitor's center to buy cave tours.

Nicely wooded campground. $20/night. Not a lot of level spots but nicely spaced. Bathrooms are clean and the camp store has showers for $1.50 for 4 1/2 minutes and laundry. Cave tours are worth the visit.

Mammoth Views, Mammoth Caves, Icky Bathr

We enjoyed our stay at Mammoth National Park. The campground was very clean and very quiet and ample space in between campers. Lots of Scenic hiking trails available and the mammoth Cave tour Visitor Center is just a short drive away. Only thing lacking are the showers and laundry facilities. Did not look clean and you have to pay $3 for 10 minutes of hot water. You have to buy a token at the concession stand before they close at 5 p.m. we would definitely come back because it is a beautiful Park but plan on filling your water tanks and showering in your own rig.

Its Mammoth Cave

What it lacks in rv amenities it makes up in being a great park with attractions. Geared more for tents but they don't keep rv out.
