Excellent overnight camping. Wide open prairie views. Easy in and out. Self pay.

The Basics But Good

Four sites with full hookup. Open field, no shade. Grounds are clean and well kept. No showers or bathrooms but price is ok at $25. Very peaceful in a town of 58 people. Very little road noise. Only down side was loads of flies before sunset. Good for overnighting.

Stayed overnite! Self pay station! Very quiet. Overall good place to rest overnight.

Loved Our Stay

Beautiful, quiet, country setting. Full hookup, level sites in the prairie. We were the only ones there during our visit in September. Perfect overnight spot on our way west. Thank you.

Full on site hook up in a quiet little town. Spoke with Deb the care taker and she was spectacularly helpful and kind.

Hidden Gem On The Prairie

Even though it's primitive, there are full hookups and gorgeous prairie sunsets! We planned on visiting the museum, and possibly boondocking outside in the museum pull through drive. Posted on the Ft. Wallace Museum window was a flyer about their RV sites. There are 4 full hookup sites with both 30/50 amp! There's a self-pay station where you can drop cash or check in a provided envelope. You can't beat $25/night! **Please note this isn't a campground! There's no bathrooms, laundry, or wifi. This is just full hookups! Also, Sharon Springs is just to the west, and has a couple of diners, one of which is open 24 hours.
