Mr
Camping on the High Plains at end of September means dry grass and dusty winds. Nice campground.
Owners on the premises and they are really nice folks. They delivered propane to the site and helped me install it. Separate dog walk. Wi-Fi like many places bogs down at times. I read papers on line early AM and it was fine. Located on I-70 means some road noise, but we were fine with fan from a/c going. Very nice bath/showers, but no a/c there.
Would stay again if I should ever find myself out there

Good For Overnight
As previously stated, this place is right next to the interstate so you will hear the traffic. It appears to be well kept and the pool is nice. Sites and roads are narrow with gravel. It was extremely windy while we were there. And since no fire rings are provided no campfires. Like most KOAs, it is overpriced for what is offered. Stay a night and then move on!

Nice campground off I70. Clean, pull thru spots. Pool was nice and very friendly staff.
Nice overnight stop. In Wakeeney’s downtown the
Western Kansas Saloon and Grill had great Prime Rib.

Nice clean park, friendly and helpful staff, enough room to accommodate our 42ft. 5th wheel and nice level sites with full hookups.

Very Nice
We rarely stay at a KOA for an overnight because of the expense. But this campground was very reasonable at $47. It had full hookups and level ground. Large pull through sites. The owners were very friendly. Another review mentioned the road noise. We could not hear road noise, but we were camped towards the back. Yes if driving through Kansas again we will stop there.

Great Overnight Stop
As far as KOAs go, this is a pretty good one. Reasonable price and good sized spaces.

One Of The Best
Simply wonderful little park! Perfect stop for the night along I-70. The people are great, level sites, everything is exceptionally clean, and the easy access to 70 is a definite plus. The prices are also extremely reasonable….especially with a military discount! Would absolutely stay again when passing through.

Great
Friendly, clean, well-run. Two gas stations right there as well.
Only downside is road noise.

The cleanest campground I’ve stayed at in a very long time. Bathrooms were immaculate. The staff was very friendly. Poop is beautiful. Great place to run dogs in back as well. We would definitely stay again.

Always Reliable
In all our RV travels KOA’s have met or exceeded our expectations. We stay in other places as well, but when we need our landing spot to be consistent & dependable, KOA’s have not let us down. This was a nice spot for our overnight needs. There’s Nothing you can do about the wind in Kansas, or highway traffic noise. This location had all level spots and good facilities as far as we could tell - we only needed electric & water this time. Very reasonable price! Not all KOA’s charge the same dollar amount, but the membership is worth it! (Different John & Paula than the below comment! :)

Glad we Stopped Here!
Super-nice hosts, level site (didn't need any blocks), clean campground. Fast wi-fi! Easy in & out to our pull-through site. There were 2 sewer hookups at the site, one middle, one toward back, so no stretching or daisy-chaining the slinkies. Quiet, even though close to I-70. Short walk to the Brazen Bull for dinner - quirky little tavern-type place, good basic food.

Great For The Night/Cross Country Trip
Great stop for the night on our road trip across the country! Near the freeway but didn’t really hear it! For a KOA there is plenty of room between RV’s. Staff was very friendly and helpful! Would recommend this KOA!

Terrific Family Run Camp
Great hosts. The entire family is still involved. wife checked me in, husband cracked jokes, and daughter escorted me to the sight. Nice pool, clean restroom and laundry. For just an interstate stopover you really get the red carpet.

Nice For Overnight
Level spot and easy hook ups including WiFi and cable. Did not need to unhook 28’ trailer. Near highway but not really too bad noise level. Staff friendly and accommodating. Young man with golf cart helps get folks to their site and lined up with hookups. Accept veterans discount-thank you!

Perfect Place For Overnight
Large grassy areas with each site. Cable TV and Verizon signal excellent. Super clean campground. Clean pool. Breakfast in am and ice cream socials in evening. Close to highway but we slept with windows open and it was very quiet. Friendly owners. We love this KOA.

Pretty Good Park
Our cable signal was crystal clear. The internet kept failing, so I had to turn my wifi hotspot on my phone so my wife could use her computer.
Nice clean sites. I would stay again.
Ice cream at night, free pancakes in the morning.

Very Nice KOA
Nicely kept park and very nice people that run it. Beware the wi-fi is not secured, my husband and I both got our phones hacked. Also only a few of the cable channels are in HD. We couldn’t even watch it because it was such poor quality.

Great for overnight stay
Great park for an overnight or short term stay. Friendly and attentive park host, nice pool and great shower/rest rooms. Convenient to I 70, but far enough away to minimize road noise. Full hook ups, including cable tv.

Best For Overnight Stays
Stayed for 3 nights. Park is better suited to overnight stays. Great amenities ~ pull through, big rig access, full hookups, wi-fi and cable. Not a lot nearby to do. In the middle of Kansas ~ very flat with little/no trees to block wind and it was VERY windy when we were there.

Lynn Is Awesome!
After a long windy drive from the Cheyenne Mountains, this was a sight for sore eyes. Lynn was very nice and accommodating. Two nice areas to play with your fur babies. One was enclosed and the other was open. My dogs loved it after the long drive. Level sites, clean, well maintained. And I never heard the traffic in the trailer.

Thanks Lynn
After a long drive it was a good one night stop. They were getting ready to close for the season but nevertheless are very pleasant and accommodating. Levels site, & even though right on I 70, not loud at all. Very convenient to get to. Did not use any of the facilities.

Great Stop Over
Heading back east and needed a night stop over. Instead of putting up tent, stayed in Kabin. Very clean and enjoyed the night cooking on the provided charcoal grill. Bathrooms were very clean. Staff so polite and wanting to please.

So-So
It was a great place to pull off the road and stop after driving in the wind all day. Not very friendly owner, but she lives in a horrible place with all this wind. Can you tell I hate the wind? Sites were not really level, but the wifi and cable are good here. She didnt want to give me the discount for Route-66 because all I had was the email, the card is probably in our mail pile at home. She grudginly gave us a military discount. Not sure we will stay here again if we have another choice.
