Great spot to camp. We've stayed here twice now. Only complaint is the camp grounds keeper doesn't bother cleaning out the fire pits between guests. Also being bug spray and fly traps. It took two days to get rid of all the flies that stored away in the camper. The campground host Holly was very nice.

Great Price, Beautiful Location

Weve decided this is our favorite lake in Kansas! Camp hosts and rangers are great, roomy spots and pleasant surroundings. If you know and love the Flint Hills of Kansas, you will love this lake. Not much in shade would be my only complaint, but it's the plains, that's normal. A bit windy but just an absolutely gorgeous, clear blue lake. We'll be back!

Very nice place wish had more time to try out the fishing . We stayed 2 nights in late June days were great nights wind and rain.

Loved this place. Had it all to ourselves. Had a spot right on the lake with water and electric. Worth the 5 miles drive off of I-70

This place was awesome! Friendly hosts beautiful scenery great campsites a hidden quiet gem! We stayed overnight not too far of the interstate you drop onto the Wilson lake valley awesome place!

Rolling hills, beautiful lake. Not all sites have water but water is nearby. Not all loops have showers but still shower facilities are available. All facilities are very clean and well maintained. All the sites were large and private. C & D loops are the nicest lots. Site was $20 but I got half off with my inter-agency senior pass.
