5 Stars????????
If you can afford a decent RV you can afford better. It's November, late afternoon and my wife and I are looking for a place to stay. Drove down a road in an industrial part of town and came upon what looked like an RV park for the homeless. Dirt rut filled entrance road and worn out grass sites. Didn't feel safe. Drove out, went 1 mile west, paid $15 more at a new KOA that wasn't listed on this app.

Not a fancy place but I don't need fancy. Level clean spots for all size. Staci a nice lady very helpful. No cable but plenty of digital channels. I will be back. Good deal for $ 24 a nite.

Deena was extremely nice when checking in!!!!! Just a couple miles from town. Would definitely stay here again! I personally can not smell the cattle like some people claim. Thanks so much!

Didn't feel safe. Stayed in off season so pretty empty. Some hot rod was reviving their engine racing through the park. Just felt like a low end trailer park.

Meets The Basic Needs
Incredibly windy on the day I arrived (gusts over 40 mph). The laundry facility appeared clean and we'll kept. The site I was provided just fit my 26' rig with about two feet on either end. Roads are dirt/gravel and will find out tomorrow how they hold up to the rain. Sights to see are a few miles away but not difficult to drive to. Again, this place has all the basic necessities and not a bad price.

Last Minute Stop
After reserving a site at the KOA, we arrived after a long drive to find the site was too small for our Fiver. We called Water Sports and they said to come on over as they had plenty of sites. We arrived to find several sites to choose from. The RV park is adjacent to rows of permanent trailers that could use some sprucing up. The sites are pretty level and mostly covered in grass. Watch for ant hills!! This is not a “resort” but is a nice place to spend a couple nights to see Dodge City. Office staff can’t be more helpful and nice. Half the cost of KOA and we have plenty of room!! I’d gladly stay here again!!

We stayed there one night. The site we stayed in had sand burs everywhere. We had an odor from a feedlot. Maybe that is just standard for Dodge City. Loud cars running up and down the street in early evening. The price was good, but won't stay there again because of the burs everywhere.

Great Night
Friendly people, full hookups, wifi, large, clean bathrooms. Reasonably priced. What more could you want for a quick overnight stay? We enjoyed our evening stroll through historic Dodge City.

There is water, sewer, & electric. Very minimal maintenance. Office was very friendly and professional. In an emergency, it works.

Not Bad For Quickie
We stopped just for the night and for $24, the park offered us everything we needed. The restrooms were a little unkept with bugs, but not dirty by any means. We asked for shade and got the only tree around with a 50amp adapter free of charge. The place was mostly clean with pull through spots that were level, wasn't looking for paradise. Would stay here again.

Crappy Area
I can believe that this had a 5 star rating by someone. Teri le road in & out. Another public road runs through park with traffic & school buses. Most of the older part of park converted to dilapidated mobile homes with trashy yards that no one maintains. No cable as advertised but decent digital TV. They have added 3 rows of RV spots in a dirt lot without any gravel or trees. Older area had not been maintained. Trees need trimming, weeds not cut. Did see a guy with a weed eater 1 day do a few areas. 50 amp service outlets are all upside down. This was a nice park but bad business decisions has made it a barrio. Don't bother. New park going in by water park is going to be really nice & close to downtown.
