Wow!

Shady, spacious sites, very well maintained, quiet. Trails vary from level to hilly. The salvaged bridges on the lake path are awesome and the plaques make interesting reading. We've stayed 3 times and like the lower loop that is a short hike to the lake path. Hats off to the management and employees!

Campground is seasonal. Not open year round. Very nice park.

Beautiful!

The park is beautiful. We liked it so much we stayed 2 nights instead of the overnight we had been planning. Most sites are mostly level. It is a very hilly park. The trail around the lake was nice and level and the woodland trails were beautiful. We will be back! Be aware though that it is first come basis, no reservations.

Little Piece Of Nature

Clean and very well maintained, gravel sights, fire rings w/grates only wish it had water and sewer. But will deal with that to have the peace and quiet Fishing is awesome and the lake has sand beach’s for swimming. Have been here many times and will keep going back. Thank you JCCB

Nice

Campsites spread out, gravel, and mostly level. Electric only (50 amp). Blacktop roads to and around the campground are hilly and curvy, one-way around each loop in the campground. Showers nice and clean. WiFi throughout the campground but depends on how close you are to an antenna (we moved from one site with 1 bar to next to an antenna for 4 bars). Water hydrants scattered around. If you have a hose long enough you can fill your tank but then need to disconnect. Our hoses (75+50+25= 150 ft) would not reach. Single dump station is outside the campground on the road through the park. $20/night.

Should Have Stayed Longer

A real gem! Campsites are spread out. Trails swimming really lovely park!
