Pulled in unannounced, felt like i was tresspassing from start. Rude, we did not stay. Seems to be only people we want type place!

"My Park, My Rules"

Rude rude rude... My first visit there was less than pleasant as I was "greeted" by park owner, Joyce to which she asked me to leave and never return... Because I did not call ahead and my camper was too short? I pull a vintage totally redone Shasta...? What does camper length have to do with anything? Oh that's right.. Joyce's park, Joyce's rules... $30/night for rudeness. Go to Oelwein city park instead. Cheaper, nicer, dog park available, trees, good company.

Another stay at this park. The lake this time was clear and had plenty of fish to catch. As a former scouter I like leaving the place cleaner then when I got there but that was not possible very clean place always upgrading the lots. No boat rentals due to the virus but we tubed all the way across the lake had a good time

Wish we were staying longer!! Somehow there are people all around but most of the time, you forget they are there. This is the cleanest resort we have ever been to and the showers are just as good as what we have at home; something that makes a difference if you are enjoying all the activities this place has to offer. Joyce and Craig are the kind of people who make you feel welcome the minute you check it and although we didn’t encounter any issues, we had the feeling if we needed some assistance, they would offer before we had a chance to ask. Craig suggested that we take a trip to Hazelton to checkout a bakery and we are so glad we went as we got the best pecan rolls we have ever had! We will definitely be back.
