Lovely place to camp, but would like the picnic tables moved off the parking spots. They are very heavy for us old folks to move.

Airport lake Park

Beautiful lake and wildlife area. Just miles from town. If you want a fantastic meal out, we recommend The Pub at Pinnnicon in New Hampton. They serve local, family farm raised pork among other features! The family camping area and playground looked great! We actually saw a blue heron when we were leaving the next morning. Well groomed site, very quiet in spring. The only drawback was a mile of gravel that was muddy from spring rain. Great value!

This was our first visit here and we were impressed on how clean and well-kept it was. We loved the rocked camp sites, it was easy to get parked. We didn't use the lake but it looked wonderful with the beach and clearness of the water. Also Jetties for fishing. We will definitely be back.
