Beautiful park Lots of space at each site, most sites are concrete pads. Right next to water park and river access. Staff in very friendly and accommodating, will return.

A hidden Gem

Mac Nider campground is a wonderful hidden gem in the heart of Mason City, IA. They have many full hookup sites that are concrete and level. Sites are tight but not unreasonable. The attendant to the campground is very nice. They are also expanding the campground with more full hookup sites and cabins in the near future. The shower house is very clean. Easy access to East Park and Mason City Proper. The city pool is robust, low cost, and a 2 minute walk across the grass. I would stay again without question. There is a bird scooter station at the entrance of the campground as well.

Great Spot

Beautiful setting and amenities. Even has a storm shelter! Family Aquatic Center right next to site. Definitely stay again maybe even a destination.

Nice park like setting, mostly level sites with easy access--water park next door-fair wifi and friendly hosts--budget friendly too

Water and electricity, peaceful and quiet. Lots of shade. Senior pricing. This is great park.

Last Minute Trip

We decided to head up to MacNider Campground last minute and we're lucky enough to grab one of the last spots available. There was a big BBQ competition at the city park next door. The accommodations were very nice and the staff was super friendly and helped us back in our 37' Motor home. We loved the Waterpark next door and the kids loved the playground too.
