The roads are narrow, and it took me forever to get parked. Had to pull into the lot across from me finally to get into my slot.

Nice spot, quiet but not well maintained. Trash was overflowing, bathrooms were a mess.

No front gatehouse with anyone to check in with or ask questions. Self checkin. Had a very uneven site by lake but overall had a good evening. Older campground but not rundown.

Great state park with clean showers and many sites to chose from. Probably one of the nicest swimming beaches I've been to. Also big lake with boat rentals and a little convenient store.

Beautiful
Beautiful state park in the middle of farmland. Very busy with kids on bikes, baseballs, etc on the weekend. No state sticker needed. Flat medium size sites.

Helpful staff. Ranger helped us find a gravel site. Most sites are grass and were mushy after some heavy rains. Otherwise nice enough.
No WiFi. Weak cell service.
Water and sewer at dump station only. We had a 30-amp site.
Drove the toad to nearby Grinnell and had an unexpectedly great meal at Relish (reservations recommended).
