Wrong Park

Honey Creek state park is not here. There is a county park nearby and it is on Honey Creek, but the real Honey Creek State Park is nowhere near Crescent City IA or even on I-29.

Nice park with self registration. Camp Host. Hard to find with gps ahead to far on turns. we turned into private driveway with flags we thought was the entrance but wrong. Go on down the road until you see BIG park sign. Then watch for the right turn to camp ground. Two sections to camp in. Very quiet and nice facilities. 15 $.

Great State Park

18 sites with electric hookups. Back in only. Clean bathroom and shower facilities. Potable water and dump station. Quiet, hiking trails, friendly camp host. Very much enjoyed my 14 nights here!
