Beautiful, Quiet
Nice Fishing Lake and full service sites, including septic.
Our site was level and gravel. Price was fair.
Will definitely be back!

Beware The Very Tight And Short Sites
Hope you’re good at backing in your camper! The campground is full of a variety of sites and is pretty. Showers and amenities great. BUT the sites are very short and though it seemed everyone was situated just fine in their site, it is tough! We pull a tiny single axel hideout and had to have the neighbor move his truck so we could back in without driving down the steep slope opposite (in front of) the site. Not enough concrete or pavement for my kids to tricycle. Sites are close together. All the things that matter to young families?

Fine for our one night on the road to elsewhere. Friday night all reservable sites taken. 9 electric only sites available for walk up. Worked ok, long drive around to get back to the dump station.

Lord of the Wastelands
Great park. Great crappie fishing in the spring. Some rv sites were built in the 60's and a new edition added in the 80's. The older sites are tight, the newer sites are better. I had #71, and it was tight. Can get a bit windy coming off the lake there.

Beautiful Park
We have been to Anita State Park twice now. Enjoy the lake, nearly every site has a nice view and the sites are nicely spaced. Bathrooms- thumbs up. Can’t beat it for full hookup at $19. Weekends look crowded, but weekdays are very pleasant.

Not One Pull through
We spent an evening watching 2 trailers and a 5th wheel spend an hour trying to back in to their sites. They finally got settled in after dark. The roads are narrow and the sites are tight. Otherwise a 5 star park

Bikers Welcome
Wow unbelievable Park! We stayed here to and from Sturgis Bike Rally this yr (2018). Can't say enough good about this park. Definitely nice, quiet and a clean park. Price is very reasonable. Bathroom and showers are outstanding! Will definitely stay again when in this area. Redwood restaurant is a must also.

Great Place, Would Go Again
We dropped in on this park and found it to be lovely. The weather was typical rainy spring, but the park was nice. Clean campsites, nice paved trail around the lake, clean restrooms and showers. We would definitely go back and try boating on the lake given the opportunity.

First time visiting with a 43 foot rig. Loved it. Had show, which was a news experience, but we loved it. Great lake, incredible walking/biking trail. Loved the Redwood Steakhouse.

Beautiful Open Spaces
We stopped on a whim for an overnight and were really impressed. It was a weekday off peak time so we were able to get a full hookup easily ($19/night). The camp Host was very very nice and the other campers were very helpful when we weren't exactly sure where to go. Facilities are very clean & brightly lit. The upcoming weekend will be Labor Day and the Reserved cards are out everywhere! I can see why: beautiful lake, great biking/walking path, and very clean facilities.

Four Mile Paved Bike Trail
The bike trail alone is worth the price of camping here. Best sites for big rigs are on the bottom loop near the lake. Full hook-ups are available in those sites. Overall this is a surprisingly nice little park.
