We tried to stay the night of Sep 11, 2023. The campground is mostly occupied by full time or seasonal campers. I can see the appeal of locals having essentially a vacation home at the campground, but not good for an overnight. There were perhaps a dozen open spaces, mostly grass, and all were too unlevel for a motorhome without serious blocking. We don't carry that many leveling blocks. We left and camped about 8 miles west at Argyle Lake State Park for $10 for the night with veteran discount.

Great place, clean, friendly, both the staff and the locals were very nice and accommodating. We liked it enough that we stayed there on our return trip.

Only problem is that you can't reserve a site. Otherwise we love camping here. Quiet, clean and friendly staff. Shower houses are nice.
