Great Place
This was our very first night in our camper. No hookups, no neighbors, no experience. The camp host, however, helped us out. He gave us directions, saved us when we got lost, stayed with us till we setup. The trepidations we felt were washed away by the beauty and stillness of the place. We are so thankful we stayed here.

Great Park
Never been to the park when it very busy but this is a great camping and kayaking/canoeing area. Has about 1/2 mile of rapids or you can launch 5 miles up river for a nice 2 hour trip down river. Camping has no hookups so bring water and own power.

Fantastic Stay!
Planned on staying for 1 night, ended up staying for 3! Late February of 2021 my family had the entire campground to ourselves. First come choice, we decided to stay about 100 ft from the Chattahoochee River. Clean, bathrooms, nice trails through the woods. Meant more for horses, but my 8 year old handled them okay. I
am pulling a 27' trailer and was able to squeeze into the wooded area. I would suggest staying in the large field for any trailer larger theb 24'.
Would definitely stay here again!

Quiet County Park with History
Whether it’s for a day or overnight, McIntosh is a family friendly park with a lot of history. My son and I love to visit and camp. The park has hiking, a splash pad park, new bathhouses with hot water, dog and horse friendly trails. It is primitive camping , sorry no RV hookups or dump station but RVs are allowed along with generators but quiet time is at 10:00pm. If you want to visit for the day it’s $5 to enter and if you camp it’s $12 per night.
