If you can get a reservation it’s worth it. You must reserve through email; the staff is very responsive and will work with you. The campground sits next to a small pond with fish, turtles, and an occasional alligator in the early morning. Bathrooms are clean. Bring bug spray as the mosquitoes are plentiful! Maybe it’s just my blood but I also suffer to chigger bites while setting up the trailer. The sites are cement and fairly level and all sit among tall trees. Water pressure is good and no issues with the electricity. There are plenty of trails in the woods to hike along and it’s close to a running path at another lake in housing. Drive slow as you enter/exit the gate so the security forces can remove the barriers.
