We tried this place after hearing several friends tell us how much they like it. Pro's- Their section of the river is awesome-good tubing, some deep holes to swim but also a lot of large rock that you can walk out into the river on and even some places for kids to play and slide on. Some sites very roomy but still may have trees to dodge with awnings/slides. Bathrooms have been pretty good both times we've been. Tip-each site is very different and has measurements online so look closely! Con's-Entrance can get backed up due to office being so close to the hwy. and not really any overflow parking while checking in. Some sites not so roomy even though it's supposed to accommodate bigger rv's and not really a lot of "wiggle" room to maneuver backing in. Also not much of a turn around once you get to the end of what's basically a one way road. Road to exit goes up, over a very steep hill and is curvy- however if call ahead, they will let you exit out the entrance road so we've been told.

Clean bathhouse and very pretty along river. We stayed here during the 2nd week in November and there were not too many people in the rv campsites. That was a good thing because the sites are small and close together. We could not let out out awning because trees were too close. Would not be where I would want to stay if the sites were all full. Sewer hook up is nice.

Beautiful
Awesome place to stay at and enjoy Mother Nature. We have only been here one night and so far we are blown away by the beauty. Seem to be a lot of Georgians here and not too many from out of state, like us. Must be a well kept secret:)

Map Is Wrong On App. 6 Miles Before Map
Please correct location of this campground. You have it too far North on Hwy 441. It's located just across from the entrance to Old Hwy 441. Your map sends visitors 6 miles to far North.
