Some Good And Some Bad - Wouldn't Stay
Stayed the night of Apr 2, 2024. The good. Pleasant campground layout and views. Fairly clean. Self check-in is simple. Our site is level, but not all are. Mosquito fogger came through after we checked in. Cost $35 per night including tax. Commercial RV Park across the road is $44 plus tax. Playground for kids. Disc golf course. Hiking trail. The bad. Expensive. We've stayed at dozens of city and county campgrounds across the U.S. This campground is at least $10 over priced. No senior, veteran, or disabled discounts. This should be about $20 - $25 per night. Mosquitos are thick. Better after fogging, but still not good. No sewer connections at sites, but there is a dump station. Bathhouse was a long way from campsite. We didn't see anything to warrant the increased cost. Description says sewer and identifies the campground as in Albany, GA. Neither is true. We wouldn't stay again. Walmart is a couple miles away and is a much better choice for a single night stay.
