Squatter Central

Pulling into the campground it appears as though squatters have taken over. Canopy tents with junk all over the place. The campgrounds are very tight except the few sites directly on the water. It could be a nice campground if they would clean up and get rid of all the canopy tents display what looks like meth labs! The playground is falling apart. Don’t even attempt to visit during the summer. The marina has no parking so the campgrounds are full of cars. Truly needs a maintenance crew and an owner who cares about the appearance in which both are clearly lacking. Would love to see someone take over, clean it up and remove all the trash.

It could be a nice place but not maintained very well. Bathrooms were dirty. Trash gets piled up at the dumpsters. Dump station was horrible....the price doesn’t reflect he condition. WiFi was no good either.

It's "ok". There are many sites here that are NOT level. The roads in the CG are narrow and rough. The dump station has no water to rinse off your hoses when finished. They have 30/50 amp service. No cable. Not many trees and some sites are close to each other.

Peaceful Getaway

Stayed here for about a month. Level gravel spots with picnic tables and fire rings. Most of the 50 amp is taken by the permanent campers and there is no sewer hook up or cable (I know, it's camping). Plenty of 30 amp though, and They do have a dump station as well as someone who will come by and take care of that for you at a nominal charge. The views from the sites are well worth the sacrifice of no on site sewer. Great place to sit back and watch the boats, distant trains, sun rise and sun sets. Has a bar / grill on property that is open Thursday thru Sunday with specials going each night. Folks were friendly and more than helpful! Will be taking the family back for a weekend. Enjoyed my extended stay very much
