Pit Stop

Next to highway, area seems safe. Other trailers and rv all resting for the night. I really appreciate places like Walmart and others that allow us trailers/rv's to camp for the night.

Great Stop

Stopped here one night. Four other campers plus lots of tractor trailers in and around the parking lot.

Good Still

All walks of life pass here… but all was good, left alone had a restful night. The Walmart staff is even wonderful! 4/2022 bridge over interstate is being re built so, construction!

2 Times No Issues

We have boondocked at this location twice had no issues, north end of lot is flat, both times about a dozen campers and a half a dozen trucks, we would definitely stay again

Trinidad Walmart Super Center

Big parking lot. A few RV’s when we arrived. Police were patrolling. Looks pretty secure. Right by the hwy so probably need some ear plugs to sleep. Easy access to get off hwy.

Stayed overnight in my car. There were at least 6 semi’s and a dozen RV’s and a few vans throughout the parking lot. Signs allow overnighting for 24 hours.

RV Parking Limited 24 Hours

Stopped in with our 5th wheel to shop for supplies on our way. Didn't stay overnight but there were a couple other trailers in the parking lot. Signs on almost every light post say parking limited 24 hours. Obviously still ask for permission but seems to be ok to park overnight here.

Stayed overnight at this Walmart with at least 30 other campers and rvs. Very nice, quiet, and no issues.

Parked for 10 minutes along with other about 10 other RV’ers when 2 employees came out and told us we couldn’t park here. We told them we were going into the store and they told us to leave right afterwards. They were booting all the other RV’ers out along with a few semi’s already parked. Didn’t give them our business after all.

Would Stay Again!!

Called store and got the ok. Told to park in the front-closest to the interstate. Many big rigs, few RV’s. Despite being next the highway it was very quiet!! Would definitely stay again! Great sunset!

Great Stop

Clean store, friendly people. A very good place to stock up before the Rockies, we did. Close to the X-way but really pretty quiet. We’ll probably stop again on the way back south

Great Walmart for Overnight

At least 30 other campers here overnight. Great remodeled store. Spoke with manager she said store closes at 12 pm. And overnight parking is permitted. We went in the am and spent $360 on supplies.

Nice quiet place to spend the night. The last option for overnight Wal-Mart parking if you are heading North.

42' Monaco Camelot

Good place to spend the night and have dinner at the Mexican restaurant across I-25 heading north. Great margaritas!
