This Park is ok but for what they charge it is just ok. It would be better if they controlled the mosquito population. We stayed right next to the pond and there were 100s of Mosquitoes. Every time we went outside we got bit. They campsites also get very muddy when rains.

Very expensive for what is offered. Sites are very close and back to back and are dirt or grass. Almost all activities require extra payment. Good for families with children if you don't mind all the extra fees. WiFi is iffy and mainly at the office area. Cable???

TxWaccamaw
I have been coming here for over 25 years. Large campground with plenty of things to do. Hiking, miniature golf, horseback riding, fishing, live music with country western dancing 3 nights a week. Restaurant serving 3 meals a day, a fuel station (with diesel) and a small store all within the park. Showers would only rate an average. Monthly rates available. Open memorial day weekend until mid-September.
