Older Reviews Look Great
We were disappointed in the park, as it was not worth $80 per night and it appears the conditions have deteriorated looking at the date of good reviews. Everything was just ok. The grounds were just ok, the staff help was just ok, the blacktop streets are ok, and the gravel sites were just ok. The World Series started during our stay so we wanted cable TV. I had to hunt down a loose cable in the brush but it didn’t have the female end of the CATV. I checked empty campsites and some were like ours and others had a box with the normal female connection. It was appears everything has deteriorated.

Called four times and left messages asking for a return call on availability. Never heard back from them. Worst customer service ever.

Expensive & Unflexible
CASH or CHECK ONLY! Beautiful grounds and gravel sites. Some in the trees, some not. Well cared for property. Showers cost $$, bring quarters. Bathrooms and showers very clean and updated. If you are car camping they won't allow 2 cars in your site even though there's plenty of room. Said they'd charge for 2 regardless. Annoying. Also 10% tax. Came in feeling great about the place, left feeling nickle and dimed. Will not return.

Best Value In The Area
Stayed for 3 nights in #37. All sites are private and the grounds are very well kept. Wifi sucks. Plenty of space to walk your dog, but no off-leash area. We visited all the other campgrounds in the area, and this is by far the best for RV camping if you like quiet and private. We will be back again soon.

Loved It!!
We stayed here for a week in February of 2020 and loved it! The sites were nice and big and private. There was very limited wifi but for people not wishing to be connected it didn't matter. There were renovating the showers when we were there but again we did not need them. The laundry was newly renovated as well and we had no issues. The grounds were immaculate save and accept for the area around their office, it did look really awful but again didn't affect our camping experience. Was a short drive into Fort Bragg, there were many hiking trails around. All in all a wonderful place to go and I would go back if ever in the area. Word of caution, they do not have debit or credit available, only cash and cheque.

Overrated Good Sam Park.
Highly overrated park. It’s big, has some nice privacy sites. Internet is awful, no decent cell service in the area either. This park is okay, just okay. Came here because of the Good Sam ratings. They have never been off in all of our years of RVng. This was a first. No credit cards, no email for confirming your reservation. Everything is by check or cash and confirmation by snail mail. Hard to get ahold of them on the phone for reservations. That should have been my first clue. This whole area doesn’t have a lot to offer. Head south to central Cali or North or Oregon. Highway Roads into Fort Bragg are two lanes and curvy, so beware if you have larger rigs. Doable, but you need to know.

Beautiful Place To Stay
This place is kept immaculate. The grounds are beautiful and the facilities are clean. Full hookups. The spots are gravel and not entirely level but it’s not an issue because everything else is just so nice. This wooded RV Park is far enough from town to keep the bums out but just a short bike ride (or very short car ride) to restaurants and coffee shops. I felt very safe here. The other guests were friendly and the staff was helpful and courteous too. Will definitely stay here again.

Almost Perfect
$45 a night w/o sewage. Very Private sites available. Clean, clean, clean. Great fire pits. Peaceful environment. Great location if you like being within distance of restaurants, shops, breweries, etc. We love it here but there are no extras. WiFi is awful! (Pretty much non-existent.) AT&T is one bar at best. Don’t try and make any small talk with the office staff because they are business only and have no tolerance for niceties. Medium size park with tent sites available. This park is not on the ocean but is inland a bit.

Great Place!
The sites are really very spacious, beautifully maintained, with a lot of shrubs and trees around. New ablutions and laundry. Very friendly and accommodating owners and staff. Excellent value for money compared to the the other dumps around for only a few Dollars less. We would have initially only stayed for 2 days and landed up staying 8 nights. B.t.w. take 20 west instead of 128 west...much better road!

Awesome Stay!
Stayed 4/2-4/5 We went to Pomo after friends stayed and had a great time. Our site was flat and private. Since we were here during the week, I noticed that there was a least one empty spot between trailers, which I appreciate, though the sites are very private with shrubbery on three sides. The utilities were first rate. The wifi was good during the non-peak use time. We had enough room in our space to enjoy the included picnic table, firepit and still had room to use my Weber grill. Owners were pleasant to speak with and were very accommodating. A walk around the camp proved we didn't get the only good spot, the entire campground is very well maintained. We will be back. Very enjoyable, relaxing stay.

Beautiful And Private
Pomo Campground Stayed 10/25-31/2017 This Campground is absolutely beautiful. Most of the sites are secluded within hedges. The park offers a huge center grass area for fun. Great locations for large rigs. We have a 42' 5th wheel and our site #4 is huge. The employees and staff are great. Beware of negative reviews when it comes to staff enforcing the rules. The owner has not and will not pull a knife on anyone. I laughed when I read that one. They do enforce the rules of the park but that is so you'll have a great stay with children. Every site is cleaned and raked when a coach leaves. That makes your site beautiful upon arrival. Only negative for us as full timers is the wifi is terrible. Worst park we've been to. For camping, get off your internet and enjoy camping. Oh, we had enough wood for camp fires for 5 days for only $35. The absolutely best RV park we have found in Fort Bragg.

Nice Spot, Quiet
Great little campground, reality well manicured. Decided to come up the coast after pulling out of another place that was mediocre. Owner gave us a great spot which was clean and quiet. Enjoyed the polite nature offer the other campers there too. Appreciate the military discount. We will be back for sure! Thanks#

We have stayed at this park several times and have always found the park to be well maintained, the spots are private for the most part. The staff are very friendly and always helpful. I would recommend staying here to anyone visiting the area.

Nice place to stay. The rv sites are clean and private. The bathrooms are clean. Only 4 stars because you have to drive to the beach.

Owner Pulled Knife
Was staying in the grass area for the overflow owner asked me to turn my generator off which I didn't have a problem with except for they didn't ask the person next to us to turn their generator off when I questioned why I got told I was evicted and got a knife pulled on me.

While not having stayed there yet, we drive thru and the park is beautifully maintained and lots of amenities. The owners are very friendly and the camping and rv sites are very private, which is why this will be our choice of where to stay when traveling the coast.
