Beautiful Redwoods!

We stayed here one night! Level sites and full hookups! The campground was beautiful!

Gotta say we loved the place. Had a great site . Left and returned 3 x during February 2022. Stayed in the biggest site with furniture… and stayed beside the Redwood Forest and cabins… loved this spot

Avoid!

Filthy restrooms. Gounds not levelled. There are nicer RV parks that also cost less in the area.

Great Basecamp For Redwoods Adventure

Traveling with a pre-one-year-old, you figure out pretty quickly that power is a must to keep the little comfortable, and allow you some sleep instead of worrying about colder night temperatures. We stayed 11/3-11/6, during unseasonably nice Fall weather, so we were told. First off the staff, both in the office and maintenance are great. The gals up front have these easy to follow tours printed out with maps and the whole nine yards waiting for you and are happy to explain them to you. We were here during the off season and I could see things being crowded, but early fall and you have the place pretty much to yourself. Clean, well maintained and everything you need. The Redwood grove on the property is great for a walk about in the morning, and the tent camping and cabin sites are within the grove, very nice. Price is about right and expected for a KOA. Basically glamping.. water/electric/cable? right at our site. Just at the start of the Redwoods. Highly recommend this KOA

Not So Great!

Not a Friendly KOA! We stopped at this KOA based on a few reviews we seen here and on another site. Wow! We were disappointed! The workers all looked unhappy to be there! No One in the office seems to care to even smile! We stayed Sunday 5/20 to Wednesday 5/23. Unfortunately we asked for the 3 night stay before we knew better. Now the layout is very tight! Very tight! Your neighbor is super close! Close enough to hear their coffee maker brewing! The dog park is HUGE 80x40.. in my opinion, the best part of the place bc we are traveling with 3 big dogs! **Warning.. they ask ya to sign a form regarding the care n clean up of YOUR pet! Well I cleaned up 7 messes left by others! Look around the park 1st for your spot! In the woods is amazing! The redwoods on the property are worth a stroll or two around them! The maintenance guys are cool.. the rest seem to not care if you are there or have no desire to be there and are just getting by for a pay check!

This place was great. Best pancakes I've had in a long time. I broke a table when I pulled in and the owner Kevin broke out tool and glue and helped me do the repairs. Now that's service. At $50 I thought it was a great value.

Fantastic

Stayed 3 nights. Location was perfect to explore redwood forests and the beach. Clean, roomy shower and changing stall. Nice store and very helpful staff. They provided free self guided tour sheets and listed mile markers to watch for and descriptions. They also suggested a spot to take the dog for a swim. Laundry room was great. Big dog park. They had cabins and tents in a small section of redwood forest, it was beautiful. I thought price reasonable considering location and quality.
