Would have been spectacular except are NOT allowed on beach not even on leash. So this gives it a negative ranking for me. Not to mention very crowded.

$70
Place is beautiful but the cost is way over what it's worth. Bathrooms open air blowing through and in San Miguel site the camp host carol is a complete control freak. And make sure your with in the white line or ranger ricks coming thru. Pay money for people telling you stuff is not cool. Can't even hang a hammock on the trees but when you check in and you sign and initial the little white paper you put on your window has nothing about hammocks. Then they hit you with a blue piece of paper saying other wise. False representation, that's going to land the park in a law suite. I suggest you put that on the part we initial, other than that place is beautiful but California state parks how much we pay for them and with our taxes should have better services. Like free showers, soap in the bathrooms. Why I can pay less at a koa and get a hot tub and pool. With free showers I think us tax payers should complain. A concerned disabled vet

Absolutely Beautiful
This campground is absolutely beautiful. Beautiful waterfront sites. well kept and maintained campground. The only reason I don't give it five stars is that the campsites them selves are very small and very close together and very difficult to back your trailer into. However once you get the trailer parked or your motorhome parked. awesome. Many full hookup sites.
