Staying here it was recommended by another camper at a further north California state campground. What a gem! The staff was exceptional, the camp host was great, I wish we could have stayed here a few more nights. We only stayed for one, but the sunset was spectacular and we thoroughly enjoyed walking on the beach. Of course, it was dry camping, as this is a state park campground. But that was OK with us as we are pretty self-contained.

Great beach access. Small coastal park. Staff very helpful and friendly. Showers are available at a nearby park. Bathrooms are nice. Second visit... $$

Clean bathrooms, camping right on the beach, dig friendly, fabulous sunsets, the sound of pounding surf to lull you toy sleep each night. Did I mention it was right on the beach? Book 6 months in advance and try to get $8531-10...those are right on the beach.
