Last Resort
Would actually give 2.5. I will say staff was helpful and friendly. Shady sites are mostly permanent used as weekend get aways. Level concrete pad. Rough gravel roads. Easy on off highway. There was new (small) pool behind office with no landscaping set in gravel lot, a long ways from sites. There is abandoned rv sites across from office which is an eyesore weed field. Didn't use restrooms or laundry. Would only stay again as last resort. We stayed in a motorhome.

Great Overnight Stop
We have used Deer Run three times in the last year during our travels to Florida and back.
Friendly staff, clean and well maintained.
Easy pull through sites for a quick in after a full day of driving. Priced just right!
Good job Deer Run!

Stayed 2 nites to wait out some weather. Very nice place, good hookups and one of the best cable systems I have seen. Must have been recently updates. WiFi reliable. Quiet and well lit at night. Would definitely stop again

Nice and Easy
Super friendly staff. Site was a little cramped, but we were told up front and offered another but wanted the concrete pad. Someone met us on arrival and showed us to our site. Nice place to walk the dog. Full hook ups and lots of cable channels. Easy on and off the highway for overnight. Beautiful pond and grounds for walking.

Not Very Park Like
The folks in the office are very nice and ready to work to make your stay as nice as possible. However the campground is right against the highway. The sites are very narrow. We were in site 6 which has two sites awning to awning. The traffic was loud and there are way too many street lights. If you spend all your time I'm your rig it might not be too bad. We stayed here 1 night in a 20' trailer. We won't be back.

Love Deer Run
This is our first visit to Troy in our RV and the 3rd RV park we have stayed in. And we love it here. The lots are nice and clean. And level! :) the laundry room is clean and I had no worries doing my laundry here (and I am PICKY! in a good way). Very quiet park and it’s a gorgeous area. We will definitely be back!!

Love this place, state park atmosphere manicured grounds lots of trees, fishing ponds and so quiet. Friendliest staff I've run into. Plan on staying out 1st winter here. If you're traveling on 231 it's a must stop.

Not Like The Pictures
Saw the nice wooded sites and the extra of an on-site legitimate masseuse when looking for a place. Turns out the wooded sites were mostly full timers. Our concrete 50amp pull thru was level, but no trees. Absolutely no shade, so would avoid in the summer. And the masseuse....never showed up. Good laundry but it’s a 500 yard walk. Over priced and would probably go farther south to KOA next time.

First Stop
This was our first stop on a month long trip. Great park great people. Easy in and out. Just outside of Troy close to highway access. We would stop here again if our journeys bring us this way. Played golf on the rtj course in Greenville.

A Must Stop.
Hands down the nicest bath, shower, laundry areas you will ever find. We made the day our shortest drive yet to make this stop. We are not disappointed. Top notch staff, shade, cement pads, pristine baths N laundry. Washed bedding in the a/c facility and worked on the community jigsaw puzzle. Sweet.

Awesome Stay!
We arrived late, and were pleasantly surprised there was a late arrival discount. $25
Beautifully well-maintained rv park.
There were two fishing ponds/lakes on the property which made it very scenic.
