Field Camping

The sites are all open. No separation between sites which adds a little confusion. The site post are considered the middle of the site. The water and electrical hookup are not on every site but are for every site. Make sure you have extra water and electrical lines. My connections were not on the back side of the trailer and they were at the limits on the site. No boisterous campers, just children having fun. The trails are quite hilly but only go for 0.5 km in sections. The natural caves were interesting as was the old mill ruins. There is considerable traffic and train noise day and night. The conservation area is bordered by two roads and one train line. It is a nice clean campground with responsive staff. One final note, the water did not taste good. I was told by a multi year camper it was the antifreeze agent taste that has not cleared out. It is not harmful but does not taste good.

Great place for kids, beach, trails, mini-golf. Nice campsites with full hook ups

Very Nice

We stopped here during our circle tour of Lake Huron. Really a cool park with interesting trails and a beach. Campground was very nice with full hookup for our class C and our friends class A. Town of Guelph has some great restaurants (39 Garden Street) was awesome.
