Most sites are gravel and grass. Several premium sites on the water’s edge are there for the viewing of the river. Access to the water’s edge is 5 - 10 feet down with green algae at the bottom. Not good for kayaking or paddle boarding. Sites range from open to secluded. There are quite a few sites with no undergrowth between the site; good for several families wanting to be together. The Middle Creek sites have only two fresh water taps located near the entrance. Be sure to fill your tank before going to your site. The beachy area (not even sure this was the main beach) has difficult paths to the water. Several have Danger signs at the access points. The shore line was made up of Gravel and river stone. The bugs were not too bad in July; plenty of fireflies. The wardens were good at coming around regularly. The washrooms, no kybo in Middle Creek, were clean.
