Stayed 4 days, lots of mosquitoes (take your bug spray). Showers in wash house are free but a $7.00 fee daily is added to your bill whether you use them or not. Pit toilets were always clean & didn’t smell. A $5.00 dump fee is charged, they ask when you register if you will be using dump station - we paid the fee when we checked in & when we left a conservation office showed up @ the dump station out of nowhere to check that we had paid. We bought wood ($8.00 bundle), but it was wet & hard to get a fire going, once we had a good hot base, the wood would burn o.k. Lots of trees between sites - most sites are fairly level, but you want to have levelling blocks with you. Large grass field/play ground in beach area, but swimming was not recommended. Lots of nature paths around the area & the service/checkin center has very knowledgeable people on duty.

Good Campsites But Poor Lake
Good campsites and nice facilties but unfortunately the lake has declined to the point that it is now just a big slough. Beach area and water activities are not good - the lake level has been dropping steadily for many years.
